The EP “Are You There God? It’s Me, @” is an upcoming release by the artist @. It is set to be released on January 12, 2024. The EP is a departure from their previous acoustic sound and delves into electronic music, primarily using software instrumentation with occasional flute, guitar, or bass parts.
The EP consists of five songs that explore themes of searching for fulfillment and questioning the existence of a higher power. The title track, “Are You There God? It’s Me, @,” calls upon a higher power in search of answers. Another song, “Soul Hole,” features autotuned vocals and hyper-pop-esque production, with lyrics expressing a desire to leave behind the material world.
The EP was written and produced by Stone Filipczak and Victoria Rose, the members of @. It was mixed by Stone Filipczak and mastered by Joe Lambert. The artwork for the EP was created by Melanie Kleid, and the design was done by Alec Moss
